On January 2, 2023, the oral liquid packaging line with a total production capacity of 1000 bottles per minute was successfully delivered to the client's site. From design to delivery, the equipment took only 21 days to be successfully handed over.
On December 7, 2022, Guangzhou decided to relax the COVID-19 prevention and control measures, no longer requiring nucleic acid tests or health codes, and close contacts and secondary close contacts became a thing of the past. Within less than a week, those who were once feared as "positive" became part of our daily lives. The practice of stocking up on food in anticipation of isolation shifted to stocking up on medicine in anticipation of fever. Many medications went out of stock, and demand soared, making it difficult to obtain the necessary drugs, prompting pharmaceutical factories to urgently need to expand production.
In the afternoon of December 10, Guangzhou Santuo received a call from a client, hoping that the company could deliver two complete oral liquid production lines by the beginning of January, enabling dual-line simultaneous production in the existing workshop. This mainly included fully automatic light inspection machines, labeling machines, tray separating machines, automatic tray inserting machines, third-phase printing and inspection equipment, automatic cartoning machines, weighing machines, Carton sealing labeling machines, electronic supervision codes, and other devices.
It was extremely challenging to produce so many pieces of equipment in a short time, as they needed to be custom-designed according to the client's workshop layout and production lines. The production time was extremely tight.
Driven by the trust of our clients and a sense of social responsibility, we were hoping to help pharmaceutical factories produce more medicines as soon as possible. We promised our clients that we would complete the work at the fastest speed: starting on Sunday, we began designing and reviewing plans, confirming that the front two light inspection lines could be incorporated into the rear automatic cartoning line, allowing for simultaneous production on both lines or single-line production. Once the client confirmed that the plan was feasible, we immediately convened an emergency meeting and arranged for 8 design personnel to work in shifts to start the design simultaneously.
However, during the production period, we coincidentally encountered a high peak of the epidemic in Guangzhou. A large proportion of our colleagues were infected, reaching up to 90%. Production work was temporarily halted and stalled. Many employees in the processing workshops and external contracted production factories were infected and unable to work normally. External purchased parts could not be delivered due to the lack of consignors or severely insufficient manpower in the express delivery companies. Every day, the company organized a small number of on-duty personnel to hold meetings to coordinate various issues, and colleagues who were not infected took on multiple roles. Colleagues in mechanical and electrical assembly, after being infected, continued to work despite feeling unwell, or took a day off and returned to their posts. Some colleagues, even when sick at home, were still concerned about their work and provided remote assistance. Everyone knew that being infected meant paid sick leave, and this illness was precisely what required rest, but they had a sense of responsibility and dedication, and they all returned to their workplaces as soon as possible...
With the unity of the company's staff, we overcame numerous difficulties, competed against time, and finally delivered the equipment to the client ahead of schedule on January 2.
Responding to our clients' urgent needs, meeting their requirements, and resolving their difficulties is both our attitude and our capability. Adhering to our original intention of serving clients and society, we continue to strive, break through barriers, and contribute to winning the current battle against the epidemic.
